FAQs

  • What are the associated fees?

    Design fees begin at $4000 per space. We use a flat fee structure based on the size of the project and the scope of work. For a  living room redesign project including built-ins, wallpaper installation and all new furnishings, plan for a minimum of $5000 in design and project management fees, and at least $35,000 for all new furnishings and project installation.

  • How soon should I hire a designer?

    The sooner the better! Seriously, as soon as you know you want to start a project, hiring a designer can help you make the best decisions for moving forward whether it’s for a kitchen renovation or a living room furnishings project.

     

    As far as new-builds go, I highly recommend hiring a designer from the get-go. A designer knows how you want to live in your home and that’s crucial when creating the floor plans. A designer will help you make all of the material and finish selections and we want to make those decisions before they start the building process.

     

    A designer is particularly good at lighting, switches and outlet placement in a room. Imagine walking into a dark room and not finding the light switch right away or not having an outlet close enough to plug in a lamp!

  • Do you sell furnishings?

    Yes, we do! We are a small, woman-owned business and your support keeps us going. We offer:

    • Products sourced from trusted vendors.

  • How long does a project take?

    It all depends on the project! Remember, this isn’t HGTV or Amazon where things happen overnight. Great design takes time, however we can assure you a very organized and thoughtful process along the way. If you’re looking to start a project, please reach out today since our design process can take 4-6 weeks and orders can take anywhere from 6-24 weeks.

  • Do you work on new-builds?

    We would love to be part of the team for your new-build! Architects, builders and interior designers each play a vital role when it comes to a project. We have worked with a number of contractors over the years and know what they need to have in order to make your vision come to life.
