How many of you out there have nothing hanging on the walls in your home? Today, I am here to show you how to decorate a large blank wall. There are so many ideas. Let me show you some ways to do this plus my best tips!
First of all, I like a clean and modern look, so I tend to use fewer yet bigger items on my walls. If there’s too much it starts to feel cluttered to me.
Also, I am intentional with what I hang on my walls, whether it’s pictures, art or mirrors, there is a reason for it. I believe art should speak to you, and you should love it.
I love to use mirrors. Mirrors open up a space and reflect light.
Take advantage of your furniture as well and place your art or mirrors above that.
Groups of three are very pleasing to the eye. This is one my favorite ways to display art.
Gallery walls are so fun. It’s the perfect spot for family photos. When creating a gallery, I suggest using the same color frame for all. Then stick to all color or all black and white pictures. Another tip is to leave 2-4 inches of space in between the frames.

What if you just want to hang one picture of piece of art on the wall? Here is the rule, which can be broken sometimes. Hang it at eye level. (unless you’re really tall) That means the center of the art should hang at 62” from the floor.
