Let’s talk dining room chairs, and I have an affordable dining chairs round up for you below. My advice – don’t buy the dining room set! I like to pick out a quality table, one that is classic, with clean lines that will work with any style.  Then I like to choose the chairs that will coordinate but not match exactly.

Another tip I have is to select 2 chairs that are different from the others and put these at each end. Some may refer to these as captain’s chairs. For instance, I might choose some wooden side café chairs but then a pair of upholstered parson’s chairs for each head of the table.

By using a mixed set of chairs you can swap out the side chairs or the chairs at the ends of the table at anytime if you want to change the look. Just be sure they coordinate in style. I’ll show you an example.
