I know what you’re thinking; where has the time gone? In a fast-paced world, it’s always good to stop and reflect on everything we accomplished during the year. I’ve been lucky to work on some great projects, see incredible room transformations, and meet awesome people. So for my last blog post of 2022, I want to share with you the highlights of my projects and, even better, what will be trending in interior design for 2023. You do not want to miss it!

There are many ways to create an statement, like accessories, art, texture, or lighting. My clients wanted something bold to make a statement as well as a place for peace and rest. That is just what we did here. Check out the before and after in this post.

Cozy Family Sanctuary

For this project, my client asked for a comfy, kid and pet-friendly yet sophisticated space. We included durable furnishings and, of course, a super easy-to-clean fabric on the sofa. The details are what make this design! We decided to use roman shades in the family room to add softness to the windows. Notice the custom trim - it adds the right detail to make it special. 



For the bathroom remodel, we followed a classical, timeless style that just adds up. It's the perfect place to unwind after a long day!

I'm not gonna lie... this is one of my favorite projects! This home is so charming on the outside but needed some help on the inside. I'm sharing a before and after pictures, so you can see all the work made. Stay tuned for a future post showing the big reveal, plus all the details for this space! This family room has come a long way! My favorite part is the fireplace transformation, and all the different textures in this family room - wood, brick, plus all the cozy textiles make this a warm and inviting space.

Additionally, we over-hauled this kitchen and increased the storage and functionality by adding cabinetry to the ceiling and increasing the size of the island. The beautiful touches of brass and wood add warmth to this gorgeous white kitchen.

Many decisions must be made when undergoing a kitchen remodel, from planning the cabinet layouts to the grout color on the backsplash to the drawer hardware placement. As you can see here, we used long and short drawer pulls and knobs in this kitchen remodel.

After completing a main floor design for this client, they asked me to come back to do the master bedroom. It's the right mix of modern, texture, and pattern with a dose of color. Don't you just love the chandelier? Stay tuned for the full reveal here in a future blog post!

Interior Design Trends for 2023.

Now, what to expect in 2023? There are certain things that you don’t want to miss!

• A space full of different textures is what makes a room cozy. The right combination of rough and smooth surfaces is best for every room. In 2023, try mixing your textures or adding something new; it is more visually appealing and inviting.
• Color is making a comeback! Accent color to create a statement is a must-have for next year! Using the right palette and contrasting colors will create a cohesive look in your room! 
• A timeless white kitchen is a classic that never goes out of style and will continue to trend in 2023. It’s like a white canvas that allows you to be creative and play with the finishing touches to create a statement. Key elements such as lighting, countertop and backsplash can make a huge difference. Remember to consult your interior designer before you make any decisions. It’ll save you time, money, and stress.
