If you’re like me, you’ve been spending most of your time at home. Now, more than ever, I believe is a time when we can set aside a special day, whether it’s once a week or once a month to have a special meal. Easter is in a couple of weeks, and I am here to share with you my simple Easter table setting.

Even if you don’t celebrate Easter, you can still make a special day for your family by setting the table for a special meal. Pick a day, any day and do something special!

My rule for setting the table for any holiday or special occasion is to keep it simple!



I always use white dishes. I just happened to buy these Hearth and Home napkins this spring because I love the stripes and I’ll get a lot of use from them.

I love this table runner and use it all the time.

I have a few Easter specific decorations that I set out this time of year. What I love is to buy fresh flowers to set on the table. You can always cut flowers from your yard or use any faux flowers you have at home.

What’s an Easter table setting without chocolate covered eggs?

During normal times of the year we try to have dinner together as a family as often as we can. Now, we are having it every single night. Even though we live in uncertain times, I love that we have a chance to slow down and spend more time together. Creating a simple Easter table setting for your family will make that time even more special. 

What are you waiting for?  Light some candles, gather some flowers, put on some music, turn down the lights, or cook something out of the ordinary! You can even use paper plates. My suggestion is to do something a little out of the ordinary for your family. I’d love to hear what you decide!
