I don’t know about you, but my front porch could use a little refresh, not to mention a good cleaning due to all of the pollen. Let me share with you 5 ways to refresh your front porch for spring. Plus I’ve included two mood boards to give you a little inspiration.
I have to tell you the weather has been glorious here in North Carolina! Typically, we go from cold to hot in no time, but we are experiencing the full spring season this year, and I am loving it!

I love it when a front porch says “Welcome.” Here are 5 quick and easy ways you can do that.
I highly recommend giving your front door a fresh coat of paint if it needs it. Or if its like mine, it just needs a good wash from all of the pollen. Last fall I gave it a fresh coat of black, and that made such a difference. Have you thought about trying a new color for your front door?
How is your current doormat holding up these days? Last fall I decided to update mine.
I love a layered look. This Hello doormat and buffalo check outdoor rug can be used year round. The layering makes it interesting. Trust me, you’ll love it.
Update the wreath for something with color or a pretty boxwood is such as classic look! Magnolia wreaths are beautiful too. I love this adjustable wreath hanger from Pottery Barn.

Grab a planter or two or more and plant some spring flowers in them. Or you can always use the faux version. I’m not a gardener or anything but I can manage some annuals on my front porch most of the time. Consider spray-painting your existing pots to give them new life.
I love the look of a couple of lanterns on my porch or patio. They are a great accessory to add a little light and character.
Is your address visible from the street? I would love to add a set of numbers to our front door. Check out the two different options in my mood boards.
