The final touch of this master bedroom is this gallery wall. Framed gallery wall prints are perfect for displaying family photos or other pieces of art. I chose to use gold frames with black and white photographs. The photos are from different stages of life and different occasions, but printing them in black and white ties them together.
Here’s a tip for hanging a gallery wall if you don’t want to put a ton of holes into your wall. Use Command Strips! Here’s how I did that.
I knew I wanted a 3 x 3 gallery wall over this bench, and I bought my frames. First, I pulled out the cardboard backing from each frame, and taped it to the wall using Frog Tape. This gives me a visual for how it’s going to look on the wall. I spaced them about 2″ apart from each other, which is the width of my level.
Then, I added the Command Strips to the frame, and followed the directions on the box. When I was adhering these to the wall, I was using my level on top of each frame. That kept everything level and evenly spaced.
I love how this turned out, and it only took me a Saturday afternoon to complete. Here’s a challenge: find some favorite photos that you want to see on your wall. They can be professional photos or even candid photos are fun to display. Then choose your frame that complements your space and follow my directions. You’ll be happy you did!
