Hi friends. The One Room Challenge is on break this week. Tune in for that next week. However, I still feel the need to share something with you. So, I thought what can I do on my platform to inspire those around me in our current circumstances? How about some interior decor inspiration from others?
5 Easy Ways to Update Your Home Now
I would like to share some home décor bloggers/designers that I follow. These black women are truly inspirational to me, not only with their style and aesthetic, but their inner and outer beauty as well.
Janice is a very sweet friend of mine. We only know each other through blogging, but she is so kind. Her beautiful home is a modern farmhouse style, and here is a shot of her kitchen. Notice the glass pendants and the gold faucet! Go check out more at Our Perfecting Manor.
Victoria’s home is so beautiful! I love her clean and classic style. It’s modern yet livable and comfortable. The symmetry in this photo really speaks to me. So much interior decor inspiration here. You must see more of Victoria’s home at Victoria Lambert Interiors.
Nicole is a very talented designer. I came across her account last fall during the One Room Challenge, where she redesigned this dining room. I’m in love with the wall treatment here, and that pendant is so lovely! She’s also a One Room Challenge participant this spring. Go see the before and after of this room plus more at Home on Poplar Creek.
Alaea has a beautiful home. I mean, check out her daughter’s bedroom! Are you swooning yet? It’s so dreamy! Such talent, I could scroll through her Instagram feed all day. Go and see more of the spaces she has created at Alaea Ansley Interiors.
Cheryl is also a fellow interior designer in Charlotte as well as a featured designer in the One Room Challenge. She is giving her kitchen a makeover, and I can’t wait to see how it turns out!
Here is a living room she designed for a client. Cheryl is amazing when it comes to using color and pattern in a space. I’m loving the blue in this room as well as those chairs! Go see more of her work at Dwell by Cheryl.
Gorgeous, right? Thank you for joining me on this interior decor inspiration tour. Now, go check out these amazing women and their blogs, and you will be inspired too.
