If you loved our recent post about the navy and teal living room design, you're in for another treat! Today, we're exploring a different yet lovely color combination: navy and blush. This pairing creates the perfect balance between bold, sophistication and elegance, creating a living room that feels both inviting and chic.
I like to think of these two colors as the perfect combo. On one side, you have the bold navy, which looks great in most design styles, and the soft blush pink, that speaks calmness and relaxation, ideal for a living room design.
If you look at it, the blush pink looks a bit similar to 2024 Sherwin William's Upward. So, this combination can also work in a bedroom design, just like we did with our Dreamy Tween Bedroom.
I created two mood boards for this color palette, which would work well in a formal living room or casual family room.
The first one features a large neutral sectional and a navy-patterned rug, which makes the room look comfy. Another favorite of mine is the serene piece of art and the white lamps, which I love so much that I own at my home.
Finally, for a touch of glam and luxury, notice the chandelier and gold accent tables, which really elevate this design!
One of my favorite things to add to a living sofa is a variety of pillows in different patterns. Having a designer on board is a great choice when sourcing accent elements to elevate your space, like pillow covers in all sizes, colors, and prints. It will make your space look unique and most important, functional.
The finishing touches in this design, such as the olive tree, moss planter, and ginger jar, are the icing on the cake.
If you're looking for a pillow tip, here's one: add one solid, one large pattern, and one small pattern—this combo never fails!
If you haven't noted already, this is my passion. I love creating spaces with different colors, textures, and materials. If you're getting intrigued about how your room may look like, inquire about our services today!
Now, take a look at the second design.
I decided to bring in some blush pink in a softer way in this room.
The cozy shag rug adds a lovely, subtle pattern, and I was immediately drawn toward the navy velvet Chesterfield sofa and the spindle chairs.
I also picked a side table with a curved shape to match the curves of the spindle chairs—it's such a fun detail! The darker brown tones really warm up the space and create a nice contrast. Then, I added a silver mirror and globe chandelier for a simple WOW factor.
A beautiful piece of art, such as the one I selected, can really transform a space. Finally, don't forget to add some greenery or flowers to bring life to your room.
If you're moving into a new home or remodeling your living space, don't do it alone. Let's work together to transform your home into a place you'll love!
Before moving forward to the fun part, which is shopping, here's one last tip for you: pick your paint color after you’ve selected the fabrics for your furniture, pillows, rugs, or art. Then, match your paint color to one of those. It’s much easier that way!
